Thirty years after going to war as a twenty year old Army helicopter pilot John Flanagan decided to write down a couple of his favorite memories. These war stories opened his mind to others. Here are his stories - some serious, some sad, some humorous - but always personal and in his own words. One reader said "it's as if John was right here telling the story." Whether talking about growing up in Brooklyn, or his early army training, or describing his memorable combat flights with the famous B Troop 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry, he gets to the point quickly. Come out and meet John and pick up a signed copy of his book.
